Aquaponics
Aquaponics is a polycultural farm system with origins in Asia and South America, which produces food via aquaculture and hydroponics. A clever system that utilises ammonia excreted from fish, which bacteria nitrify for plant nutrient uptake, and inturn aquatic plants produce clean oxygenated water for aquatic organisms.
